Ski resort Kněžický vrch is located only 400m from the historic center Vrchlabí
(in the bypass Praha – Špindlerův Mlýn)

The cableway will take you to Kněžický vrch 700 meters above sea level, with stunning views of the surrounding Vrchlabi and the Giant Mountains. It provides convenient access to trails Benecko and Mísečky with up to 50km. For the skiing public are 2 lifts and 1 lift with a lift capacity of 3400 person / hour. The slopes are artificially snowed and terrain are ideal for beginners and families with children.

In the ski resort is newly built snowpark.

City Vrchlabí

Vrchlabi is a picturesque mountain town with nearly 13,000 inhabitants, situated in the upper valley of the Elbe. It is an ideal starting point to the highest Czech mountains and rightly called the gateway to the mountains. Offers numerous ski, hiking and biking opportunities and a number of interesting historical monuments. The watch is definitely worth a Renaissance chateau from the 16th century town houses with gable arcades, or Augustinian monastery from the 18th century. The monastery and three historic houses in the Square of Peace today houses the Giant museum with many historical and natural science collections.

Many supporters have won Beer Festival held at the TG Masaryk Square on the first Saturday in August, Vrchlabi Musical Summer - Sunday's regular series of classical concerts in the monastery church, or the Jazz Festival in February Jazzlabí in urban cinema.

City Vrchlabi also caters for lovers of sport. They will find ice rink, squash, tennis and volleyball courts, athletic stadium, an artificial climbing wall and sports airport. Towards the Spindleruv Mlyn, in the area called Herlikovice, is a popular ski resort. The local chair lift can be used in summer for hiking and cycling or just the prospect of a stone tower on Mount Žalý (1019 m). - Current information about sights and events in the city can be obtained at the Town Information Centre building in the historic Town Hall Square.
